The weekend of June 11-12 is a big occasion for Hapa families: Loving Day!
As you might have guessed, Loving Day is a celebration of love and marriage, but that’s not how it got its name. The name comes from the landmark 1967 Supreme Court ruling, Loving v. Virginia, that made it legal nationwide for persons of different races to get married.
