As I’ve written before, there are not a lot of logo shirts I’d wear, because, that’s like advertising a company. On your body. For free.
But remember how I said I’d make the exception for a good cause? Well, here’s a good cause for you: 18 Million Rising is a non-partisan, non-profit organization aimed at getting Asian Americans to show up at the polls this election day, November 6. THAT’S a cause that’s worth turning myself into a walking billboard!
So I was thrilled when a package showed up on my doorstep, with these cute Blacklava (check out their cute Hapa designs, too) t-shirts courtesy of 18 Million Rising, and I promptly put on one to take my kids to Tae Kwon Do class.
And the deadlines to register to vote have passed in most states, but make sure you actually get to the polls on Tuesday, November 6 to cast your ballots. Click on the Pledge to Vote logo in the right sidebar —————>
And receive five free VOTE buttons from 18 Million Rising and Asian Pacific American Legal Center… in the language of your choice.
If you live in California, you can also check out the APIA voter guide for endorsements on statewide ballot initiatives on the 18 Million Rising Facebook page.
Plus, I have two extra 18 Million Rising t-shirts in sizes medium and large. Leave a comment below for a chance to win one! I’ll pick a winner over the weekend and ship them out on Monday.
And the winners are Angie Cronin and DJ Chuang… wear your new shirts with pride before November 6!

I pledged to receive my buttons! LOL – “mixed well” t shirts! Please count me in to win of these awesome shirts. I’ll don one for the cause! I might even vote early to avoid the crowds.

I would wear this shirt! My parents and relatives all vote (my dad actually volunteers at the polls). Will try to make sure other friends will vote, too!

Love it! I also don’t like wearing logo t shirts but would wear it proudly! Represent!

What a great cause. I always make a point to vote, and tell my girls that when their time comes, they must vote, too!

When I saw the title, I was wondering how big of a warehouse you’d have to have to house 18 million boxea of t-shirts! :) I’d be hapoy with just 1 and large would fit me best. Thank you very much.
